Hey Beautiful!
I’m Gemma- The face behind Gemma Lee. I’m just a Kiwi girl with a big zest for life and a passionate ocean dweller. The ocean has always been home for me. Growing up I found any and every reason to spend my days in the water from surf life saving, to competitive ocean and pool swimming, and even synchronised swimming! I love experiencing the ocean and water in so many forms! Still today I love finding any reason to spend my days salty, whether that’s catching some silky waves, grabbing a SUP to explore islands or just splashing about body-surfing like an absolute kid!
I am a big dreamer, and I launched this label to not only bring a splash of joy to the waves, but to also build a beautiful like-minded community of ocean-loving women who bond over our salty stories, our sun streaked hair and ocean perfume.
People are at the heart of everything I do at Gemma Lee, which is why I have a big focus on being ethically made. I celebrate the hands that bring the Gemma Lee suits to life, and the not forgotten art of craftsmanship. Producing ethically made products will always be at the heart of Gemma Lee.
